Fuel prices are at an all time high today, and if you are wondering whether it is related to BP's oil spillage in the Gulf of Mexico or for some other reason, we cannot be sure.

Despite the high prices due to the spiraling gas prices and so on, if you have always lusted for a high performance car, then Porsche is the answer you're looking for. It could be either 356 or 911, but this is one brand that you would love to have alongside you. Why would anyone want to compromise on their PORSCHE? Porsche parts are considered very reliable and some of the best, therefore, you will never be disappointed by the performance of this compact car.

Some of the best Porsche parts that you will come across include Porsche Front Chin Spoiler, Porsche 911 Rod Kit, Porsche Lower Control Arm, Porsche 911 Carrera 4, Porsche 911 Twin Turbo, among other things. Upgrade BMW E46 Parts - BMW Modifications Done Right

As a car like the E46 (3 Series) Chassis gets more affordable, more people buy the car, and those who buy the car sometimes are buying it used. This means that often their standards for quality aftermarket parts are not as high as someone who is trying to preserve the warranty, etc. For this reason, there are a lot of great parts on the market, but also a lot of junky ones with horrible quality. Here are a few things to look out for.

Buying Lights for your E46
You probably want to upgrade the corner lights or tail lights, which is a really popular mod. If you do this, be careful what brand you're buying. In pictures, they all look the same, but in reality, there are a lot of really lousy fitting parts from companies like DJ Auto or Anzo, and they will often yellow or let in moisture. Same goes for headlights. I recommend DEPO brand, or, if your budget allows, original BMW Parts (OEM).

Buying Suspension for your E46
BE. CAREFUL! A suspension system is a critical safety component. Don't cheap out. If the suspension fails, you and your loved ones could end up in a major accident. Is it worth saving a few hundred bucks on your coilovers to risk the life of those you love? Use some sense. Stick with the established brands - Bilstein, H&R, Eibach, KW, Koni, B&G... even DINAN. If a suspension company doesn't have the resources to market their product or brand, do you think they have the resources to test their products for quality and safety?

Buying wheels for your E46
Now I know you're probably not going to be putting some $6,000 custom forged HRE Wheels on your used car. That is understandable. But you can still get quality at a great price. Some great brands are VMR Wheels by Velocity Motoring or Avant Garde. You can also do well with a set of MIRO wheels by ALT. There are a ton of other great brands, but just make sure that the wheel you buy is JWL & VIA certified. These are important safety standards that regulate how the wheels are made and tested. Again, just be safe.

Hopefully this article has shed a little bit of light on how you can buy quality BMW E46 Parts online.

The Least Fuel Efficient Vehicles

Who doesn't want a car that's slick, sleek and super fast? Some of us dream of the day when we can go to the luxury car dealer of our choice and buy the sexy sports car of our dreams. Others actually don't have to dream because they have the cash to obtain one of these lavish rides.

But sometimes, what looks good to us isn't always good for us. This is especially true when it comes to the fuel efficiency of some of our dream cars. Did you know that cars with high fuel efficiency could save you as much as $1,400 in fuel costs each year? But if you buy a car with low fuel efficiency, you might be riding in style, but you also will be draining your pockets at the pump

The EPA has compiled a list of the "Least Fuel Efficient Cars." Here are just a few of them:

Lamborghini Murcielago (Manual)

The Murcielago is a high performance two-seater from Lamborghini. It was introduced as a coupe back in 2001. The Murcielago has a 6.5-liter V12 engine and can reach 60 mph in 3.8 seconds. However, it came in at number one on the list of Least Fuel Efficient Cars. The Murcielago and Murcielago roadster only get 8 MPG in the city and 13 MPG on the highway. The automatic version of this vehicle came in third place on the list with 9 MPG in the city and 14 MPG on the highway.

Bugatti Veyron

The Bugatti Veyron appeared on the market back in 2005. The Veyron boasts an 8.0-liter W-16 engine that can produce 1,001 horsepower. It can also go from zero to 60 in just three seconds. The Veyron is powerful $1.2 million dollar machine, but it came in second on the list of Least Fuel Efficient Cars. This luxury car only gets 8 MPG in the city and 14 MPG on the highway.

Bentley Azure

The Bentley Azure made its debut back in 1995. It is a large, four seat convertible with a 6.8-liter V8 engine. It can go from zero to 60 in about six seconds and its top speed is 181 mph. The Azure came in fourth place on the list. Its fuel efficiency is 9 MPG in the city and 15 MPG on the highway. The Bentley Brooklands also tied with the Azure and had the same fuel efficiency.

Engine Options For The 2010 Acura TSX

The 2010 Acura TSX is once again at the head of its class when it comes to engine performance. The 2010 automobile has just one trim, but has two engine options. The first option which comes standard in the TSX is a 2.4 liter four cylinder engine which produces 201 horsepower. Acura's i-VTEC technology increases the torque and horsepower in the four cylinder engine. The four cylinder engine gets very good fuel economy with 20 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway when coupled with the 6 speed manual transmission. When the car is upgraded to the automatic transmission, fuel efficiency improves to 21 mpg in the city and 30 on the highway.

For those people looking for more push out of their vehicle, a V6 engine is available. The TSX V6 engine is a 3.5 liter VTEC engine which produces 280 horsepower. The V6 engine also produces 254 pound feet of torque. Considering the power of the 2010 vehicle, it gets surprisingly good fuel efficiency. In the city, the TSX V6 gets 18 miles per gallon. On the highway it gets 27 miles per gallon. Unlike the four cylinder engine option, the TSX V6 is only available with the five speed automatic transmission.

The four cylinder engine in the automobile is very similar to the 2009 model. The 201 horsepower engine is slightly less powerful than the 2008 model engine, which produced 205 horsepower. Before 2010, Acura TSX purchasers did not have the option of a V6 engine.

Jaguar Luxury Motor Cars - Its Humble Automotive Origins

Most Jaguar and British classic motor car aficionados and enthusiasts will insist in a doggedly determined fashion and manner that the Jaguar automobile lineage started with the most famous founder of Jaguar itself Sir William Lyons. This is true in classic automotive history mythology yet not 100 % fully accurate. The real honest truth is that the person who provided the inspiration & impetus for Lyon's drive into automotive & automobile manufacturing was yet another British subject as named "Bill". Bill number 2 was a close geographic neighbor of the Lyon's family in Blackpool, the popular seaside resort on England's northwest coast. His name was in actuality was William Walmsley and a year or two before he met the later Sir. William Lyons, he had been involved with the making of and manufacturing of side cars for motorcycles.

These were very different to the wicker basket contraptions most often seen in early 1920s - the bullet shaped motorized basket side contraptions. What was unique about Walmey's cyclist carrying devices is that they were made of highly polished aluminum metal in construction and on top of that were most stylish indeed. When the Walmsleys moved from Stockport of King Edward Ave, Blackpool, the young Lyons, living on the same road, could not fail to note and take notice when a fully completed example was parked outside on the road side. Bill Lyons was already a most keen motorcycle enthusiast and solid motorcyclist. At that point in time apparently American brands were considered on par and up to snuff with good British machines. Bill Lyons the future progenitor of Jaguar had in his stable of vehicles with a Harley Davidson "Daytona Special" and an "Indian" US made product among his favorites.

Apparently it seemed that even in the summer of 1921 it seemed that Bill Lyons even then was dreaming of bigger as well as "better "things. By no means was this future powerhouse cornerstone of Jaguar fully satisfied at his present and future prospects of a lowly car salesman, nor did he wish to enter his Irish born father's piano repair and music business. Striking up a relationship with Wamsley, who after all was 10 years his senior in age - he began to put over his ideas for increasing production of the attractive side-carriages from a measly less than one a week upwards to a production and sales volume that made the firm profitable.

Interestingly although initially unreceptive but won over by the simple success of the ideas of the young newcomer, Mr. Walmsley eventually agreed to an upgraded partnership formation of the two into a brand new venture, which was appropriately named "The Swallow Sidecar Company" which was formally and legally established on September 11, 1922.

It was this simple small venture that was the budding seed from which blossomed the globally influential Jaguar Cars Ltd. This producer and manufacturer of these fine luxury British cars started off from the most humble beginnings with a 1000 pound sterling overdraft loan guaranteed jointly by the parents of the two budding businessman. From such humble beginnings the Jaguar Cars Ltd grew and took hold. Lastly for reasons of political correctness of the times - some time after the mid 1940's the name was changed to the current and respected branding Jaguar - reminiscent of the sleek, fast cat.

The Ten Most Expensive Cars in The World

A car is one of the finest representations of human engineering, and the most expensive cars in the world are as much specimens of beauty and luxury as power and performance. Not surprisingly, the most expensive cars are usually the most powerful and fastest cars as well. They incorporate the latest advances in high-tech engineering and materials science - from dashboards that remind you of fighter aircraft to all-enveloping leather upholstery to lightweight, exotic body material, all these and more can be found in such "supercars."

While compiling this list, we have tried to restrict our choices to production cars only, even if it is limited production. As a result, antique or one-off modifications have been kept off our list. Also, there have been certain cars like the McLaren F1 and the Ferrari Enzo which would have surely made the list if they were in production today in 2010. They are not currently in production and, therefore, have not made the list. Additionally, two variations of the same basic design are not part of the list; the costlier version is included, such as the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport for all the Veyron versions available.

Please keep in mind that positions and names on this list can change with as much speed as that of the cars featured on it. With that disclaimer, here are the ten most expensive cars in the world:

1. Koenigsegg CCXR Edition ($2.17 million)
Being "green" doesn't come cheap, but for this price you can get an environment-friendly supercar, however incongruous that may seem. Manufactured by Swedish carmaker Koenigsegg, the CCXR is powered by a modified twin-supercharged V8 engine (same as its predecessor the CCX) converted to use E85 or E100 ethanol fuel as well as standard 98 octane petrol. The engine produces 1,064 bhp and the car has a theoretical top speed of 259 mph. Its chassis incorporates carbon fiber technology.

2. Bugatti Veyron Super Sport ($2.03 million)
The fastest street-legal production car in the world today, it wrested the top spot after the standard model had yielded it to the SSC Aero TT. With an engine delivering 1,200 bhp, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport has a top speed of 267 mph. The Veyron line of cars is named after French racing driver Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1939 while racing for the original Bugatti company.

3. Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster ($1.88 million)
This superstar by Italian manufacturer Pagani was built on the request of its Hong Kong dealer and has a limited production run of five vehicles. An evolution of the Paganini Zonda F, so named after F1 legend Juan Fangio who had been an engineer at the company, the Cinque has a top speed of 217 mph, powered by a 678 bhp engine. It also comes equipped with a high-end Paganini audio system, another of the company's exclusive products.

4. Lamborghini Reventon Roadster ($1.46 million)
The costliest (and most powerful) Lamborghini ever built, this car, like many of its predecessors, is named after a famous fighting bull. Built to resemble a fighter jet, the Reventon was actually raced against one (a Tornado) as part of a promotional stunt. The 670 bhp engine, sourced from the Murcielago Roadster, can propel the Reventon to a top speed of 211 mph. Only 20 of these are being built.

5. Aston Martin One-77 ($1.40 million)
The One-77 is so named because only 77 of them will be built, with the first delivery in October 2010. It has a full carbon fibre monocoque chassis, a handcrafted aluminium body, and a naturally aspirated 7.3 litre V12 engine delivering 750 hp, resulting in a top speed of 220 mph. Note that the price mentioned is estimated and not official. There is a chance that it may be priced higher than the Lamborghini Reventon.

6. Maybach 62 Landaulet ($1.35 million)
This may not be as fast as the cars mentioned before, but few can beat the opulent luxury of this Maybach. Based on the Maybach 62S, so called for its length in decimeters, the Landaulet has a glass partition separating the driver from the passengers with opacity control mechanism. The biturbo V12 engine delivers 612 bhp that can propel the 2 ton-plus car at speeds in excess of 170 mph.

7. Leblanc Mirabeau ($800,000)
Designed to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans (the world's oldest endurance race), the Mirabeau looks like a race car from every possible angle. The engine outputs approximately 700 horsepower giving it a top speed in excess of 230 mph. It is supplied by Swedish carmaker Koenigsegg, manufacturer of the No.1 car on this list.

8. SSC Ultimate Aero TT ($730,000)
Briefly holding the position of the fastest production car in the world and still credited as such in the Guinness Book of World Records, the SSC Ultimate Aero TT is built by Shelby SuperCars, an American manufacturer (the only one on this list). The 2010 model has an engine that can deliver 1,287 bhp, producing a possible top speed of 270 mph. The tested maximum speed, as mentioned in the Guinness Book, is 256 mph.

9. Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster ($500,000)
This is the last scheduled production year for this car with 3500 being built from 2003 to 2010. The SLR stands for "Sport, Leicht, Rennsport" (sport, light, racing). This car combines the best of Mercedes-Benz style and luxury with McLaren Formula One technology. Powered by a 626 bhp engine, the supercar can reach a top speed of 208 mph. Unlike most of the cars in its class, the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster comes with an automatic transmission.

10. Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupé ($440,000)
Rolls-Royce, long considered the epitome of exclusivity, just makes the list with its Phantom Coupé. The platform is based on the 2003 Rolls-Royce Phantom with styling derived from the Rolls-Royce 100EX, a concept car unveiled to celebrate the company's centennial in 2004. The interior is richly furnished with leather and wood veneer. The 453 bhp engine manages to propel the massive 5478 lbs car up to a maximum speed of 155 mph.
